Executive Officer Profiles

Carrie Matiku completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in the United States at Montana State University in Media and Theatre Arts. Her capstone project, “Women of Africa,” was photographed in Tanzania. She has exhibited in the US in Salem, Oregon and Bozeman, Montana.

Upon completing her degree, she worked as Creative Director and Producer for Dar es Salaam Television. Later, she worked as an executive for Target Corporation in the US where she gained skills and exposure in upper management, as well as expertise in marketing strategies and budgeting schemes for maximizing profit margins.

Amos Matiku, a graduate of the University of Dar es Salaam, contributes his knowledge and skill in the fields of electronics, computer hardware and software systems, including the use of computer editing software for the purpose of creating special effects, graphics and animation for video.

Prior to starting Afrikan Image Productions Ltd., he worked as an electronics technician and began studying for his master’s degree in electrical engineering.
